    For MY23, Tricity comes with a new chassis and upgraded rear suspension for greater comfort, smart keyless ignition and smartphone connectivity for greater convenience and a new Blue Core 155cc engine with Variable Valve Actuation and stop/start technology for increased performance and economy. Every detail of this agile and manoeuvrable urban scooter is designed to make commuting pleasant and convenient.     Blue Core 155cc Engine

    The new Tricity 155 is driven by a 155cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke Blue Core engine. Featuring Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology for strong acceleration, this quiet-running low-emission powerplant produces lively performance in urban settings and a good cruising speed on the open highway.

    Optimised Three Wheel Layout

    Tricity 155’s twin leaning front wheels give you enhanced feelings of stability on bends and bumpy roads – and being one of the lightest and most compact 3-wheel scooters, it’s so agile and easy to manoeuvre. The latest model benefits from a refined LMW Ackermann steering system that gives a more natural and confident feeling when cornering.

    New chassis

    Once you’ve experienced the Tricity 155 you’ll never want to go back to public transport! Its new frame has been designed to ensure even higher levels of riding comfort, and the increased strength of the chassis gives a natural handling feeling that makes the Tricity 155 a joy to ride.

    New LCD instruments with smartphone connectivity

    When you’re riding the Tricity 155 you can view real time notifications of incoming calls, social media, emails and texts on the new LCD instruments with smartphone connectivity. All you need to do to get connected is to download Yamaha’s free MyRide app to your smartphone, pair it with the scooter using the VIN and you’re connected!

    Start & Stop technology

    For increased riding enjoyment in urban traffic the new Tricity 155 is equipped with an intelligent Start & Stop system. When you are stationary at traffic lights the engine automatically stops – saving fuel and reducing emissions. As soon as you twist the throttle the scooter starts automatically for an easy and relaxing ride – even in congested traffic.

    New Smart Key keyless operation

    Tricity 155 ownership is all about comfort and convenience, and with its Smart Key keyless ignition you’ll never have to mess around looking for keys again! As long as you have the Smart Key with you in a pocket, bag or wallet you can get moving in seconds.

    Larger footboard area

    With its larger footboard area there’s more space for your feet, enabling you to find the most comfortable riding position. The Tricity 155 is also equipped with newly designed passenger footrests that are easier to flip out from their folded-in position.

    Underseat storage with LED lighting

    Simply flip up the comfortable dual seat and you can access the spacious storage compartment that’s ideal for carrying personal items when you’re riding – or storing most models and sizes of helmet* when parked. For convenience it’s automatically illuminated by an LED light. (*Depending on the shape of the helmet, certain models may not fit.)

    Front pocket with power socket

    Tricity 155’s front pocket offers quick and easy access to personal items – and there’s also a power socket to keep your smartphone charged when you’re on the move.
