Covid-19 Update

Under the COVID-19 Protection Framework (CPF), aka the traffic light framework, the bLUcRU Kids Camps, bLUcRU Trail Rides and Yamaha Off-Road Demos are classed as controlled-access events, operating as commercial recreation activities, and are able to run at scale by mandating ‘My Vaccine Pass’. All attendees aged 12 years and 3 months and above will need to provide a My Vaccine Pass to enter the venue. This will be scanned at the gates upon entry to the event.

There can be up to 100 people in a defined space at the venue at any time, based on 1-metre physical distancing. This includes children, but not event management. Our event will have multiple defined spaces and will be closely monitored throughout the event.

All riders briefing and communication from event management will be communicated in advance of the event via email. Upon entering the event, attendees will be required to scan the QR code and face coverings are strongly encouraged.

To protect everyone, we ask that you keep up healthy habits which include
Regularly wash and thoroughly dry your hands or use hand sanitiser.
Sneeze and cough into your elbow.
Keep your distance from people you do not know.
Clean or disinfect shared surfaces often.
If you have cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, stay home and get a test.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Virginia Henderson on virg@imemanagement.co.nz regarding Kids Camps and Trail Rides or Lucy Townley on lucy@bentownley.com regarding Demos.

Yamaha Women In Motorcycling

Motorcycling, as a sport and as a hobby, has historically been dominated by men. But there are an ever-growing number of women interested in the sport. Here at Yamaha Motor New Zealand, we believe it is time to shift gears and create a community that supports and encourages women to achieve their goals in sport and most importantly, start enjoying motorcycling together.

We all have different backgrounds, interests, jobs and lives, but find common ground when we journey together through motorcycling.

Yamaha will have April Mainland from Inspiring Adventures come along to a range of our Off Road Demo Days and bLU cRU kids camps to help build riding communities and make it easier for ladies to get riding and enjoy the endless world of motorcycling.
