New to the Yamaha WaveRunner line in 2022 is the fun and exciting JetBlaster that delivers a playful, freestyle riding experience like no other sit down watercraft before.

Inspired by the agility and manoeuvrability of Yamaha’s legendary SuperJet, this craft combines the freedom of a stand-up with the versatility of a sit-down personal watercraft, to deliver next level thrills and performance.

The key to the unique performance and innovative design is the custom-tuned electric trim, built-in footwell chocks and raised action handlebars.

The electric trim gives the rider the ability to pop out of the water, do spins and other exciting maneuvers, while the built-in footwell chocks, located towards the rear of the craft, allow the rider to adjust their riding position when freestyle riding.

The wide mounted, high action handlebars, provide increased leverage over the craft, allowing the rider to quickly change direction and execute extreme moves with ease.

Whether you are after a stand-up or sit-down WaveRunner, Yamaha now ticks all the boxes when it comes to freestyle riding.

In addition to the unique electric trim, footwell chocks and wide-span handlebars, the JetBlaster craft comes with an extremely light-weight and compact hull - combined with Yamaha’s award-winning TR-1 High Output purpose-built marine engine - delivering an extremely powerful and agile on-water performance. 

Finished off with a bright new cyan deck colour and retro graphics inspired by Yamaha’s original WaveBlaster models, this craft looks as radical as it performs.

The integrated foot chocks located at the rear of the footwells, allows you to redistribute your weight for a more secure stance when riding standing up - allowing you to perform more aggressive freestyle maneuvers. 
Exclusive to the JetBlaster, the electric trim is tuned to give you the ability to pop out of the water, do spins, and other high action maneuvers. It allows you to transform the craft's riding characteristics from serious to playful and everywhere in between.
The motor cross inspired handlebars are taller and wider, giving you more leverage over the craft, and the new performance grips reduce hand slippage and fatigue. The small switch boxes give the craft a cleaner, more sporty look.
The glovebox provides enough space to hold your valuables and easily accessible.
Yamaha’s patented RiDE™ is the world's first dual throttle handlebar control system, that makes handling easy, fun and intuitive. Pull the right lever to accelerate and the left lever to decelerate and for reverse. Release both levers, or in any combination, and the system reacts with precise control.
Designed to make it easier to reboard your craft after a swim. Conveniently tucks away when not in use. Comes as standed on all EXR WaveRunners.
All Yamaha WaveRunners utilise open loop cooling, which is used by 99% of marine manufacturers. Open loop systems have been proven to be the most effective, reliable and maintenance free solution for marine environments, which means lower cost of ownership and less time off the water.

Powering the JetBlaster is the three-cylinder 1L Yamaha TR-1 HO Marine Engine that is the most powerful motor in a compact-size watercraft today. Feeding this award-winning motor is a 50 Litre fuel tank allowing for a full day of riding.

SUPERJET - THE ULTIMATE STANDUP PERFORMER

The legendary Yamaha SuperJet returned with a bang in 2021 and will continue to provide extreme action and enjoyment in 2022.

It's torquey four-stroke Yamaha marine engine and nimble performance hull is 60 kilograms lighter, 25 centimetres shorter, and twice as fun to ride than its competition. 

No longer reserved for professional racers and freestylers, the SuperJet appeals to a wide audience including recreational riders looking for a new thrill.  This includes aging tricksters who will find the athleticism and excitement of riding the new SuperJet to be a similar challenge as wake surfing, which sees continued interest and growth among this audience.

Award-winning four-stroke TR-1 Marine Engine

The SuperJet is powered by Yamaha’s award-winning, three-cylinder, four-stroke TR-1 marine engine. This compact, lightweight 1,049cc engine delivers the exhilarating acceleration that stand up riders will love throughout the engine RPM range.
 
 

Adjustable Handle Pole

The SuperJet features a three-position adjustable handle pole that can extend up to 50mm in length, with race-inspired handlebars. This adjustability is useful for all size riders and riding styles.

Gauge and L Mode

The SuperJet includes a handy fuel gauge and for novice riders, an L-MODE feature which reduces engine performance of the SuperJet to 85% or approximately 64 kilometres per hour, for easier learning.

Hull and Deck

The hull and deck of the SuperJet is only 19 centimetres longer, 8 centimetres wider, and 13 centimetres taller than the original two-stroke SuperJet. Amazingly, the four-stroke model is only a scant 31 kilogram heavier than the two-stroke version.

Nimble Turning

The SuperJet hull is designed for greater static and dynamic stability while maintaining the SuperJet’s thrilling turning abilities. To do that, the turn angle of the adjustable steering nozzle can be set at either 16 degrees or 19 degrees. 

Re-boarding Holder

To assist with reboarding the craft a new integrated reboarding holder has been built into the deck.
