Yamaha staff members and long-time motorcycle riders Matthew Stevens and Sean Goldhawk were among a lucky group of riders chosen to put the new Ténéré 700 World Raid though it paces prior to the media launch if the bike.

Sean Goldhawk

Sean Goldhawk, Land Mobility Marketing Manager. Has been riding for 45 years including stints as a despatch rider in London and as a test rider for various magazines. Prefers dirt riding to road and owns an adventurised XT660X as well as a Ténéré 700 and has just bought a 1974 DT250 for vintage dirt track racing. Favourite rides are overseas on an adventure where the bike is less important than the experience.

Matthew Stevens

Matthew Stevens, Brand Manager For Accessories, has been riding for 15 years and changed to two wheels to make his daily commute easier. His current ride, an MT-09SP, is his favourite by far, but he has enjoyed various bikes since progressing to his unrestricted licence more than a decade ago. In addition to riding Yamaha's YZF-R1 and Niken on track, Matthew rates a Northern Loop weekend as his favourite ride. A group of mates and 650km of open road, taking in the Putty, Singleton, Sandy Hollow, Bathurst and Kandos.
