Supporting our Environmental Plan 2050 is our commitment to sustainability through alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It comprises 17 goals and 169 targets as a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity, to achieve corporate growth through the resolution of social issues in the countries and communities in which we operate.
In the Yamaha Motor Group Environmental Plan 2050, we set up goals to achieve by 2050, with climate change, recycling of resources, and biodiversity as priority action areas, as well as targets to achieve by 2035 as milestones. It is Yamaha's aim as a group to achieve net-zero CO2 emissions (carbon neutrality) by 2050 for the whole product life cycle.
