26 Sep 2014

This year in October, the Yamaha World Technicians Grand Prix (WTGP) will be held at Yamaha Motor Corporation in Iwata, Japan.

Jeremy Read from Filco Farm & Sport in Nelson NZ, our current 2013 Oceania Technicians Grand Prix champion is leaving on the 27th of September to head to Iwata Japan to represent Oceania in the Yamaha 2014 World Technicians Grand Prix.  This will start on the 30th September at the new Yamaha Technical Academy training centre and is set to be a cracker of a competition this year.

Jeremy has been putting in a lot of effort to be prepared for this major event. Dave Filer (dealer principal at Filco Farm & Sport) has put all his support behind Jeremy, giving him time and motorcycles to help him prepare for this event. Dave is so proud and excited he decided to accompany Jeremy to be able to offer his support and be part of this amazing journey.

Jeremy is an exceptional technician and we know no matter what the outcome that he will be an exceptional ambassador for our Oceania region.

Phil Winter our Yamaha Motor New Zealand service representative will be joining Jeremy and Dave. Phil has exceptional technical knowledge and also the experience of being at this event with Wayne Blackwood in 2008.
